Kingston Avenue Construction Update #3

We are pleased to report that construction on Kingston Avenue between Eastern Parkway and Union Street has been completed.

Thanks to ongoing advocacy by Vaad Hakohol, the City has now installed a detour sign on Carroll Street, redirecting traffic to help prevent congestion from building up at President Street — a request we’ve been pushing for, and we’re glad to see it implemented.

We remain in close contact with the Mayor’s Office, DDC, and the contractor team to ensure the remaining work progresses on schedule and is completed in time for Yom Tov.

Please Note:
Starting Friday, July 26, the alleyways leading into Kingston Avenue between President and Union Streets will be closed at Kingston during work hours, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for approximately 1–2 weeks.

We thank the community for their continued patience and cooperation as improvements continue.
