About Us

The Vaad Hakohol of Crown Heights is the elected leadership of the Crown Heights Jewish community. We are dedicated to supporting the Beis Din, preserving the spiritual vitality, communal integrity, and institutional strength of our neighborhood, while ensuring that the needs of our families, shuls, and mosdos are supported with dignity and care, all in accordance with the vision and teachings of the Rebbe, following Halacha as stipulated in Shulchan Aruch and local law.

The Vaad serves as a central address for community advocacy, halachic standards, communal services, and resource coordination. Working in close collaboration with rabbanim, local institutions, and city agencies, we strive to represent the voice of Crown Heights and uphold the values of achdus (unity), kedusha (sanctity), and responsibility.

We are honored to serve the Crown Heights community with dedication, transparency, and accountability.
